Current course selection is The Conservatory - LIDAR by Chris Lane aka MAJORHIGH This course is quite fantastic and plays like a dream, kudos to the designer. By the looks of things shaping up in the society, the members are enjoying themselves. I can see a battle to the finish line tho !! Thanks for including The Conservatory in your society, hope everyone found it enjoyable, challenging and fair. MAJORHIGH Here are the top 4 players scores. We had a total of 56 players complete both rounds, with the highest score being -1 and impressive low score of --34. Comments posted in the social tab were very positive. Oh and trust me I did not come in 6th lol more like 46th

Thanks for including The Conservatory in your society, hope everyone found it enjoyable, challenging and fair. It was a great course. Wish I played better, but that's on me. With all the practicing I did checking out this course I should have played better as well. I think I wore out my clubs! Always a pleasure having you join in on the fun coruler2

After we finish out today last round @ Marlette Fells by b101 our next course selection will be one from Designer Adam Trenton arielatom called Black Rock CC. Nice design, plays extremely well in all conditions so I am sure everyone will agree this to be a good choice. Do not deploy any umbrellas or you will be come the flyover for the course Rock on folks!

Just wanted to make sure you choose the Tour version if it's still an option, as it plays identically to the non-Tour one but has some cosmetic improvements.

b101 Results are in for Marlette Fells Reviews were mixed but mostly positive. Some felt the greens to be a bit drastic in sloping while others loved the challenge. It was all about ball placement, chipping and putting skills to divide and conquer your design. Taking this into account out of a field of 80 players 45 completed both rounds. There were only 4 unlucky souls who shot over par that is pretty decent! Keep up the good work, I will be looking for more of your designs in the future.

Certainly meant to be on the challenging side for approach shots. Thanks for giving it a shot 🙂. If you enjoyed this but would like slightly toned down challenge, Greenstone River could well fit the bill.

The next course to battle is a course by Doe Coba called New Oxforshire Golf Club. He puts a lot of time and effort in his designs and in the end of my round I never felt disappointed (except for some of my bad choices leading to bad scoring ). So I hope you enjoy this one. Thereafter I will be putting up another course by another member Doume6307 called Broken Arrow Valley. I have not had a full game there yet, but did check out a few holes and think we are good to go on this one. I love to try to use a members course when I can to give them all the love and support they give me here in this society! Carry on.. got a few hours left to finish up Black Rock CC!!

I liked Oxfordshire, liked it better in the 2nd round light. Nearly had a clean event, bogey on the 36th hole. Really appreciate your tour here inflames47, when the weather gets colder I might be able to get some rounds in with you and deathstar and maybe Doe Coba?

Well Art Vandelay after totally screwing the pooch when setting this tournament that should have been for 2 days, yet someone (ahem that would be me) messed up and put for one day. My apologies to Doe Coba but I promise that we shall re visit this course again in the future to get you the plays deserved. This was a fun round and a great design as always your greens look easy but can fool a player like me. Looking forward to game time with you Art, been too long! So the end result is as follows and the winner is ( drum roll please!) unclevirt My sincerest apologies to those who were unable to finish both rounds due to my stupidity.

Now that has to hurt a bit Doe Coba I suspected this club-house green complex to be a pain in the ass. Confirmed ! Dominique
