Nice course Justin. Captured the feel of a coastal Brazilian course. Liked the bunkers and flowing fairways, but my favorite part was the greens and the high/low areas that you don't see much anymore from the designers. I got a lot of fun rollouts toward and away from the hole. Adds a good element of picking where to land instead of taking dead aim at the pin.
Good luck in the contest

Appreciate it Dale, glad you had fun. I love building greens that funnel balls into certain areas, or require an approach shot to a particular spot that might not necessarily be straight at the pin, so it's good to know that is something others find enjoyable, too. Thanks for the play!

Just a heads up for anyone who may be using Pin 3 in a society event. There was an issue with the pin on 16 that can be clearly seen from 1 specific angle, but only that 1 angle...anyway, I will be adjusting that section of the green to ensure it's fair (not yellow) - apologies for the oversight, honestly never saw any color within the 9-box at any point, and would have never noticed it if it hadn't been pointed out to me by someone else. A "Tour" version will be published sometime later today which should serve as my "recommended" version to use if playing all 4 pins, or if only playing pinset 3.
Thanks!

"Copavista Resort (Ocean - Tour)" has been published. If you are using the course for a 4 round event, or intend to play pinset 3, I recommend using this Tour version.

Nice work Justin. Loved some of the views off the tee, the sand under the ocean, and the mountain greenery.
Definately a challenging back half in the winds. Should do well in the contest.

For anyone looking to play the stiffest challenge this course has to offer, "Copavista Resort (Ocean - Champ)" has been published. The toughest, and final, version of this course is as firm as fast as they come, intended to required the most precise of approach shots and a deft touch around the greens.

Nice course mate, played the original and really enjoyed my round despite struggling massively with tempo...... Very nice sculpting work on the bunkers I felt, they were mounded very nicely creating some dramatic looks. I also particularly liked the long front bunker on the 12th green, cut nicely into the green.

Appreciate it Royce, glad you enjoyed the course. 12 in particular may have been my "favorite" hole in terms of how it came together while designing, so it's cool to see someone else notice some of that stuff. Thanks again for the play!
