Great event, fun to be part of, and would love to do it again next year. Big thanks to Cath and Gary for their continued work in organising their respective societies and this event. I thought, on reflection, the singles line up actually looked favourable to Gary’s team, but the final course with it’s tricky conditions made it a really open final day and anyone who turned up could’ve shot any score.
Well done to everyone who took part and made this a memorable event.

Worth noting, I played my second round on my LTE air card as my internet was terrible where I was staying for the weekend. About 40 mins of playing Plus party chat consumed 150MB.
I found this surprising low. Maybe Valhalla was cached on my system or a given course just isn’t a lot of space.

Awesome stuff mate. Great few days competition. Absolutely loved being a part of it 🍻 Good stuff. My suggestion for next time might be a draft between captains. Just would make it a little more interesting and balanced. Most everyone plays across both societies as well... That's not a bad idea mate

That's not a bad idea mate I could see this being a great idea if you wanted to run a Ryder cup within your society as well. Take the top two that want to play, put a pool of players together and let them draft.

I'm thinking of doing that when my current season finishes....in July I wasn’t trying to undermine the process in place. I was merely offering something to consider. For instance some players joined the society late and thus had no chance to accrue points (GWHope). Maybe we just do this format casually within the society and keep the formal process against Cathal. Just a thought. Didn’t mean to give Aces a wedgie w his thong. 😉

I made enough points I RCR But I chose not to be in the running when I first joined. I wasn’t sure how much time or commitment it would involve. I am busy this time of the year. I think I could handle it though, just didn’t want to mess it up. Cathlos1991 did offer me and another player the opportunity to fill in last week but I didn’t see the request in time. I joined TM late and agree a long term player should get in. But I like the idea of a draft that way players wouldn’t have to choose sides. I think that’s a tough decision, since both tours are great!
