So as this is my first course design I thought it would be a good idea to call on my Private Jet and get over to Madagascar and check out what I’m working with here. I departed earlier today and will update you all on my findings when I get there…. Wish me luck, in the meantime here are some pics of the journey so far.. READY TO ROLL…. WHEELS UP….

Griff, any thoughts/requirements on course names? Should the country be included in the course name (e.g. "Greece National")?

Griff, any thoughts/requirements on course names? Should the country be included in the course name (e.g. "Greece National")? It doesn't have to be that specific, but it does need to reflect (in some way) that it's THE course (hence, national course) for that specific country. It doesn't have to be "Greece National", but you do want to have a name that is distinctly Greek.

If you're stuck for a name Antonio feel free to use The Greens @ Old Souvlaki or Feta Fields!
No need to thank me....

I got on a roll in the designer last night. Three and a half hours later, I finished a half a hole.

Last question: Is there a release window or do I have the green light to publish when ready (soon)?

I really have no creativity when it comes to course surroundings/plot. I plan to finish my holes by end-March, which gives me a full month to try to do something. More likely is I’ll open and close the editor 30 times with no progress

Was the deadline end of March or April? Thought it was March.

I started again but this time completely different - it’s all good this way....
Just on the topic of how to start does anyone else layout the course hole structure on paper first and then roughly apply to the designer using measure lines?

I do but I use electronic paper in the form of my Galaxy Note (using its stylus). However it invariably changes in the designer as holes nearly always look and feel differently once in the designer.

All holes are measured with the same theory for par 3, 4 or 5 but each hole has its own features obviously. My chosen country makes it’s easy to be risky.
