TPC is a 'tst lite' society that brings a pretty unique format to the heavily saturated society scene. This is a PS4 only society that will run weekly events starting on Monday's and ending on Sunday's. I can guarantee that the course selection will be exemplary, and possibly one of the best societies for course selection in the community.
Tournament Players Club is now open and readily available to all those on PS4.
Here is a link to a video that demonstrates how the format works in tournament play.
Season Schedule.
Jun 4-10. Oakwind Invitational at TPC Oakwind
Jun 11-17. US Championship at Chicago Golf Club (Championship)
Jun 18-24. Utah Open at Hobble Creek GC
Jun 25-Jul 1. R. Simpson Classic at Congressional CC
Jul 2-8. C.B Macdonald Memorial at Greenbrier CC (Championship)
Jul 9-15. British Championship Qualifier at Prestwick Golf Club
Jul 16-22. British Championship at Hoylake
Jul 23-29. Canadian Classic at White Rapids GC
Jul 30-Aug 5. World Championship Pittsburgh at Pittsburgh Field Club
Aug 6-12. The PGA at West Country GC (Championship)
Aug 13-19. Seth Raynor Memorial at Raynor Farms Municipal
Aug 20-27. The Heritage of Golf at The Heritage GC (Championship)

This is the perfect gateway drug to TST for those who are too afraid to go into the deep end.

I've just made the joining public. Less waiting and pretentiousness 👍

Just played the first event - fantastic choice for a first course Joe, nice and short, extremely realistic, no blind holes so it works well for no scout cam. Putting without a marker was a bit weird but worked surprisingly well and very intuitive - I think as long as no courses have anything more than medium-fast greens (where you're certain to be screwed on a downhill put without being able to move the marker) it shouldn't cause any frustration. Finished on -34:

Nice course. Played pretty good, made a few errors but was able to scramble for par. I think this format makes me a better putter over all, it's gets you back to seeIng it instead of over analyzing. Give it a try if want a fun change of pace!

Currently halfway through the first event of TPC. Looking for more members who are willing to break away from the norm and try and pretty unique format. If you're on PS4 give Tournament Players Club a try.

Anyone interested in trying this out again? I still don't think there are any societies around that play this unique format. There would be a slight change this time by way of having the putting marker ON not off. I'd start it up again if people are interested...

I’m looking for a TST style society on PS4 so count me in if it’s a goer.

Exactly what are the restrictions applied? I’m happy to see the grid back.

It's basically just no scout cam and wind meter, giving the real feel on your shots. Green grids are on to speed things up. Society is open join anytime, I'm just sorting a schedule out incase people want to join. Course selection is an integral part of this society and I want to select only the most realistic and authentic courses.

I’d be in. Always liked it but it never took off. Maybe this time? Also, I seem to prefer the longer timeframe tournaments these days. I am having trouble completing the 1 or 2 day tourneys now that warm weather is here. Just a suggestion to spread them out.
