Week 1, Team 6 Round 1:Jacobi 62 (-10) and I left a few out there. Felt great tonight! Let's go Mark! Nice round there, partner! Bit of a tough act to follow, but I think I held my own in spite of what felt like a rather less than well designed course. Way too many stutters which could have been fixed with less aggressive water features. At any rate, I think I helped the cause. Mark Lawrence Team 6 Week 1, Round 1 -9 63 Not bad for an old hack!

Just posted my round, really disappointed with my score as there's definitely plenty of chances to shoot super low. I'd love to blame the lag but it was probably the quadruple on 10 that killed me. Sorry Paul Williams. Dai McCann 68 (-4).

Anstett/ Davies vs.Townsend/Costigan Match 1 R1 60 / -12 Yes a -12, wasn't doing that for 2 rounds in the Ryder Cup 1 Bogey on the 6th and a couple of nice flat greens on the back 9 will help your score, especially 18 which is a defo Eagle chance Looks like I lucked out on a partner!! Will get my round in tonight!! I apologize in advance.... haven't made a nice putt in days lol

Team 4 Dylan Rogers 66 (-6) Was struggling early but then got the Eagle on 8 which sparked a rally. However fizzled out and missed a couple opportunities at the end. Fun though. Seems like I'm on the low end so hopefully you can pick up my lack Aaron. Team 4 Aaron Pett Wk 1 RD 1 69 (-3) Sorry partner - my swing is still drinking margaritas somewhere in Mexico. I'm hoping it comes back soon, and I can pump it full of strong coffee to sober it up.

Ha. Maybe so. I didn't notice the lag during my practice round. Another thing I didn't notice during the practice round was the 550-yard par FOUR. I can't help but wonder if that was done on purpose or if the course designer defaulted to par-4 and the designer didn't catch it. That's happened to me before as a designer. I think I just won the prize for using the word designer in a post the most times! Your post was clearly by design 😂 Is there a head-slap emoji?

I think the stuttering was a combination of both the water features and the crowds. The course was a little laggy during my practice round, but not like this. The people definitely put on a strain as well.

Team 5 Roberts/Ciboch Roberts 63 -9 Could have had about 4 better and it wasn't the stutter that got me it was some guy in a red jacket flashing the ok sign that kept running out and kicking my ball away from the flag! How the heck did you manage that Mark! By the way great rounds you two! OK Pards these guys are serious lets go!

Sorry Scott! I could have done way better! After I shot -8 with 11 birdies in a practice round with the same tees and pins I felt pretty confident to start my round... I drove the green on hole one and 3 putted and that seemed like a bad omen. Every birdie putt would not fall until the back 9!!! Oh well. That's golf. Have a drink and move on! Lol Ciboch Week 1 Rd 1 67 (-5) No problem Pards..still a good round! Never have to say sorry in this game! We will get it back on the second round and I would be happy to join you with a drink!

Quick question as I'm a rookie this year... what is the day range each week to play my rounds? Sorry if it's a stupid question haha just wanna know what nights I should plan on playing Welcome! We play a new round every 3 days I believe. What ever system you are on, go to the Society and look at the season schedule, and it will show you start and finish date. You will get the hang of it.

How the heck did you manage that Mark! By the way great rounds you two! OK Pards these guys are serious lets go! Scott, I supposed I managed that score the same way you did. Hookers, booze, and plenty of good ol’ American ingenuity and elbow grease. And help from the Russians. And of course, I sabotaged your round as you described. Notice how cleverly I hid my scheme by making your score match mine?
