So much for that. +1 over my last two rounds for a -4 for the tourney. Ball striking was great, but I couldn't sink a putt to save my life! R2 (72) on the 5th 2 putt 5' on the 6th 3 putt 6' the angles on the greens S&#$, R3 tomorrow. Fast downswings just when you don't need them.

Well (64) R4 happy with that. I think my best round. My stats say 61 but don't remember that. The new batteries in my putter helped lol. Winds were not bad the entire tournament which was surprising.

Yeah, I was expecting the winds to kick up at some point in the tournament. Great 4th Rd, by the way! I couldn't putt worth a damn so I couldn't take advantage of what seems to be a pretty easy course if you consider how low the scores are on the leaderboard.

Man, some seriously low scores this week! After my first practice round at next week's venue, I have a feeling that will change for next week's event.

I brought my sledgehammer to putt but still was -5 in PR1 at Carolina Shores. The course reminds me a little of Kiawah Island. The big boys and girls are going to score well on this course. Pr2 tomorrow.

Wow huge jump between 42nd and 43rd place. +4 to a +15, nothing in between. Usually it's a pretty gradual step between down the leaderboard.
And really between 1 and last place a -36 and a +88 thats a huge difference. Is this due to new people jumping in? I think if you shoot that good in Z you need to be jumped up right away and possibly 2 levels.
If you shoot -20 or better in Z jump them up 2 levels. Kind of like minor league baseball, players have gone from AA to the Pros in one jump.

Kind of like minor league baseball, players have gone from AA to the Pros in one jump. With so few players participating week to week in Z, the CC-Z leaderboard can be a bit odd sometimes. This week was the first where I've seen such low scores, but that was more a result of the course, and less about player skills. If you putted well at all this week you scored big. I putted like crap so I did not, but I still managed to stay under par which is good for me all things considered. And since you can gain an exemption while playing your exemption, moving up happens pretty fast if you keep scoring well. Gotta be consistent, and that is the hardest things with this game (like real life golf)

71 (E) first round. Took me a couple of holes to realize we were on forward tees. I practiced on the second to last back tees and that threw me off a bit. Still putting terribly and I actually hit it on the literal beach twice this round! Had to scramble quite a bit. Hopefully I can make some adjustments in the second round and get under par at least.

Not to worry Matt, you just keep playing, after q-school I was placed in E in Nov. of16 and had a few tournaments and have been playing in Z most of 2017. Z is my home planet. I'm a bottom feeder and proud of it lol. I'll be seeing you move up in time. I meant to ask you, are you using tour clubs?

I started off using Tour Clubs in the beginning (before joining the Tour), and while I had some success, I am more consistent with Player and they are far less frustrating. What about you?
