Who decides the wind? I would like to hurt them please. BTW, jsizzle727 I meant to say that God does the wind, not that you're a jerk. When I looked at this later I had an uh-oh moment.

Man that's some wind in the second round. Opening tee shot into 19mph. Had to birdie 3 of last 6 holes to shoot 73. Ouch.

2 even rounds, a -9 and a -1 for a total -10. Not the start I had hoped for on the CC-C tour, but I hope to settle in and stay away from the strikes. I practiced about 2 rounds a day for this tournie, but wasn't really feeling it once I started. 20 mph ish winds on the second round were kind of a bummer but I'm glad I held even. Good luck to all, I'm guessing -10 I will be picking up some strikes but it was still fun to play. Back to practice for next Sundays rounds. I really wish there was a way to redo or practice certain holes instead of having to either completely reset or completely play through.

Started off with -1 for Rd 1 followed by -5 for Rd 2, looking like i'm going to get some more strikes to add to the 2 I got last week. Then from nowhere comes a -8 on Rd 3 which could of saved my a$$. -3 for the 4th Rd to end up -17. Hopefully this should get me above the demotion line & clear the strikes against me

I say farewell to CC-C - my strikes were enough to send me to CC-D - but I shall return!

Finally made it to CC-C, but dear god that was a tough round to have as my first. That wind was insane, and that's my biggest weakness. After countless hours, I still can't get the balloon effect calculations down, hitting an iron against a cross wind and how much loss in distance you get.
Anyways, happy I am finally out of the CC-Amateur, but we'll see how long that lasts.

My first attempt at CC-C as well, on an exemption. I ended up shooting 67,66,65,67 for -23. I'm thinking/hoping that keeps me above the strike line and earns my card, but we'll see, I could certainly see some good putters going really low here. The wind was tough, and it felt like I had a dozen putts that crossed right over the front of the cup over the four rounds. Of course I made a few longer putts I had no business making, so maybe it evens out.

Started out with a -10 and followed up with a -1 for 2 rounds @ -11. I need to buckle down and have 2 consistent rounds. I think there is sometimes almost TOO much practice. I almost felt jaded on the second round. I just want to clear my strikes and wait for my buddy to show up in CC-C. Good job lajvol20 and juiceroshan on making it up to CC-Pro sounds like with the scores you guys are posting you should be sticking around. Added 2 round of -5 each for a grand total of -21. I rolled the CC-D tour sight unseen, and ended up -43 for the tournie. I am just playing that society for the points in TGC2 now. I started practicing for next weeks tournie, but I have to tell you it feels like I am playing this round in an abandon Soviet Block housing projects. Not a very attractive course at all and the buildings just make it seem unnatural. I have a feeling I wont be showing good numbers for next week. Oh well thats golf!

The one thing that really hurts in practice (I usually play 4 - 6 rounds before the actual tourny) is that you have no control on the wind, and often times the wind in single play is far less than what you see in tourneys. I have no idea why this is, but I played this course 5 times and never was the wind above 7mph. The tourney probably averaged over 10mph, and two rounds had winds above 15mph. This is a real issue that TGC will hopefully give control of.
I ended up -18, 69 | 64 | 67 | 70
Kind of consistently meh, would liked to have had atleast one or two less per round to avoid the cut line. At this point I think the demotion line will be right at my score.

After two unremarkable rounds I finally went really low (for me) and shot 61 in the third round. 68-67-61 so far.
