Asking for a friend whos doing Q-School next week...do they play off the tips or shorter tees? this week was not from the tips...played the 3rd tees of 5. That said I think it still was over 7400 yards

So for the cutlines, is it cutoff from the first two rounds like a normal cutline or is it all 4? For example, I only shot a -7 through the first rounds, but I shot a -17 in rounds 3 and 4 for a -24 total. So could I like "miss the cut" for say CC-B because I shot poorly in the first two rounds, or will it only be for the overall score for Q-School? the "cutlines" as I referred to them are the lines drawn for q-school as to which tour you end up in, so all scores better than ### will end up in PGA/Euro, scores between # and # will go to Web, etc with a range of scores to send to each tour (except CC-Z it sounds like). all 4 rounds count, and your total determines where you go. It sounds like Thursday is the day to determine what those ranges will be.

Finished my third round and pretty much fought the wind all the way through, though admittedly it was a roller coaster ride. I had everything from a double bogey to an eagle. Finished even par for that round shooting 67, 70, and 73 respectively. Can't wait to see what happens next!

Long time since ive been this close to tears from frustration in a game... I played "ok" but the putting(!).... so many lipouts and four-putts completely destroyed my score, ended up at around -20 Turns out "resting" before competition only works in real life and i probably should have played more than 1 practice round the last couple of weeks. at least this way there might be an opportunity to fight for top spots and try to climb up the tours during the season instead off just trying to keep from getting demoted, might actually be more fun in the long run Best of luck to you all that haven't completed all rounds yet

It sounds like Thursday is the day to determine what those ranges will be. This is correct - Separator Lines might be a better term - nobody gets cut from Q-School - everyone gets a card. They're still being coded and may not show up until the weekend for the first week - but when they do you'll see multiple lines on the Q-School leaderboard with the labels PGA-Euro Above/Web.com Below Web.com Above/CC-A Below CC-A Above/CC-B Below CC-B Above/CC-C Below CC-C Above/CC-D Below CC-D Above/CC-E Below Where you fall in between those lines will determine your tour card. Nobody can get a CC-Z card out of Q-School - lowest you can go is CC-E and then you have to be demoted from CC-E to get to CC-Z (it's a safe place for new/young/struggling players) Will post the final placement formula for those lines once we have it coded in - not set in stone just yet other than the Web.com Above/CC-A Below line will be the same score as the CC-A exemption line that week.

Doyley, there are only competing ~35 CC-A players this week. With the 10% exemption formula in mind: would that mean that a qualifier would have to beat all but 2 or 3 CC-A players to get a Web tour card?

To me it would be fair and a great motivation if the Top 5 will get a card on the Top Tours (i won't be one of them). - Every qualifier who have beaten every current CC-A player should get a Web card (with a final score of -41 i won't be one of them). - Then the 10% exemption rule should be in effect additionally (To 99% i won't be one of them).

He mentioned at least a Web card. Whatever the score is for the Exemption line would be multiplied by a percentage to figure out PGA/Euro. I don't remember the number, nor do I know if it has changed, but it would be more than 100% of the CC-A exemption line score. CC-A would be a bit less than (a bit less than 100%) the exemption score. CC-B a bit less yet, etc. down to CC-E.

Is there a place we can go to see if our scores were submitted correctly? (edited to say - I may have just found it - should I be looking at www.tgctours.com/Tournament/Qschool/1867 ?) - I may be near last place this week (that's where I was according to The Golf Club Society leaderboard when I just finished my 4th round), but I do want to say I finished strong! I went 86-82-81 in my first three rounds but then ended with a 69 by birdieing my final four holes in the last round! So maybe I can handle the CC-E field after all!

Really like the course despite a few holes where I imploded. Like the 18th during the second round. I was cruising along at -5 and, wait for it, 6-putted the 18th for a 74. Followed that with 67-73 so that's not so bad. I would not want to play this course with 170+ greens. Yikes I haven't seen my name on any leaderboard yet. I have double and triple checked that my gamertag matches my profile. I'm not stressing about it, and I'm new so I'm not sure exactly how things work. I didn't "register." I just joined the society and played. Hope that was ok. I don't care what card I get. I'm just happy to play competitive golf. I don't really try when I playtest my own courses, so actually focusing on golf is fun. And frustrating. But mostly fun.

I didn't "register." I just joined the society and played. Hope that was ok. I'm sorry to say I believe you did need to register for scores to be picked up. Taken from the instructions: TGC2 Q-School Registration Now Open Step-by-Step Instructions - Register for a TGCT account by clicking here - Make sure all information is accurate when filling out your profile - especially your gamertag - triple check! - Go to Q-School Registration page by clicking here or by clicking the big red Register for Q-School button on the home page
- Select the system you will play your rounds on
- Select the week you want to play
- Q-School is played on the TGCTours (CC-Pro) society in-game and is a week long event - Course info can be found on the CC-A Tour Schedule - Wait until your selected date arrives (feel free to practice in the meantime!) - Load The Golf Club 2 - Enter the Online Societies section - Search and join the TGCTours (CC-Pro) society - Begin the active tournament - Play your rounds (all 4) - You do not have to play all 4 in one sitting - you can stop and come back - You can not restart - it’s a one shot deal - Scores will be auto-submitted by the TGCT API starting on Monday If your scores don’t show up 2 hours after you play, triple check that your gamertag on the in-game leaderboard matches your TGCT profile gamertag exactly - If you are still having issues email commish@tgctours.com to create a support ticket - Confirm all four rounds are on the Q-School Leaderboard prior to the event closing on Saturday - Wait until event is finalized by TGCT admin on Sunday - Based on where you finished you will receive a TGCT Tour card and a notification email late Sunday
