I can just picture CuseHokie smiling while besting my score in TGCtTours. Granted I'm still working my way up it still stings a little. Lol.

man can we stop playing 187 greens. It's killing me without the aiming stick. 32 birdies this week and so many bogeys.

No idea if it was the server or just my game this week, had a nightmare all over couldn't find a fairway and struggled really bad on the greens,No picture this week too embarrassing to post my score.

Very tough course! Luckily it's one of my favorites and I know it inside out.

Hey rod81simo, just wanna quickly ask why you decided to turn the putting marker of for your Society? Played my 1st round on this Tour yesterday and while I actually played way better than I expected to do after not playing TST-style for month (finished with -2), I didn't really enjoy putting. Especially on those 187-greens it's almost impossible to stop your ball from certain spots somewhere near the hole, even if you just touch the ball a little bit. Did you see any particular advantage by turning the marker off? I'm just curious, not moaning.

I watched your round last night, played well, I suggest you use the ability to still zoom in on the green and check out what you can see from the overhead shot in regards to the greens make up and should help you further. On to your point though, if I could turn off the aiming marker whilst off the green I would also, no aiming markers IRL, ha. With practice you'll be better able to dial in your speed, it's actually made me a better putter with the marker in social rounds too I feel, it is tricky to stop a 10ft 3in down putt beside the hole but with practice it's not so daunting and just watch the ball careful as it's dying in speed around the hole like on TST settings for some assistance on the holeout. Putting with no marker and grids is my favourite part of the settings and why I created the Society, it's the most authentic way to play the game, just need an option to turn the marker off whilst off the greens and it would be perfect IMO

So when you have a 50 foot putt and it's 1 ft down - that could be 7 inches or 18. Really big swing especially with fast greens. In a way it forces you to maybe not play in the spirit of the game. Like not going for a par 5 in two because you could have a long putt and it'd better to pitch from short of the green. And of course everyone's favorite - chipping on the green.

Again sorry for the delay in wrapping up this week, busy weekends of late and at work have kept me from finalising again.... A new winner last week saw CuseHokie's dominance of late come to an end for now, congrats JOEgolferG for taking it out, well played! Let's keep spreading the word and hopefully last week a few peeps were to busy to commit to the 4 rounds and we'll bounce back up in numbers again. This week is our first Mini-Major which sees entry fees bumped up to 500coins but also features a 500coin bonus, good luck to all who play, cheers! Maybe its me but i dont see TGC2 having the long term appeal as TGC1,Hopefully i am wrong. All down to the swing i feel some love it having no trouble, others just can't work it out or be consistent.

Maybe its me but i dont see TGC2 having the long term appeal as TGC1,Hopefully i am wrong. All down to the swing i feel some love it having no trouble, others just can't work it out or be consistent. The swing is what makes this game great to me. It has a reality to it. I have my good days and bad days. Distractions, mood and even body position can affect my swing. Sometimes one bad hole will mess me up for awhile. These are all the same in real golf. The tempo addition is a nice touch. I have had entire weeks where I have lost my swing and thought it would never come back but worked through it. The key for me is when I notice my swing starting to drift I try to correct it right away on the practice swing or range before the bad habit becomes ingrained. I am no expert by far but I am having fun and once in awhile I get in a zone where it feels I can't miss. If it was easy it wouldn't be fun.

Just finished up my 1st round as part of your society. Shot -5 with 6 birdies and 1 bogey. Thrilled with the way I played. These settings are the best I've played with on the game. Glad I found your society and thanks for letting me in!
