In these months of checking real courses, I find a lot of fantastic courses. Obviously I can't remember right now all of them..but I wish to suggest at least a bunch of those not only absolutely accurate and well made, but also perfectly fitting with the CC needs. Often they have also crowds :
Losby GK (Tour) (Norway)
Chester yacht & Golf Club (USA)
The Coeur d'Alene Resort (USA)
Reserve at Spanos Park xlf (USA)
The Colonial Golf Club (Australia)
The Glades Golf Club (Australia)
All these are gems. Really. And all fair enough for CC. Maybe Coeur d'Alene could be a bit tough/long, but is playable for sure.
A special mention, if a better tour than CC don't want to use it, for this season, if on CC we should look for some tougher round, would be also :
Winged Foot West (USA)
Oakland Hills South Tour (USA)
Spyglass Hill (USA)
Merion East (One of the two) (USA)
Congressional (One of the two) (USA)
The National - NGLA lidar (USA)
Fox Chapel Golf Club (USA)
The Celtic Manor Resort (Wales)
Kungsangen kings (Sweden)
and at least one between the Canadians
Glen Abbey (CDN Open 18)
Hamilton G&CC CDN open 19
Devil's Pulpit RCR
But at least Losby, Winged Foot and Chester Yacht really should deserve a place, even cause those gems are absolutely, unforgivably underplayed, ans are all from 3 severely undervalued designers, in my opinion.
If some scheduler wants (but I don't think so
) I could easily suggest a dozen..if not dozens..of other real courses that deserves some love and a spot on the tour... if someone tells me what kind of real course he is looking for.
