I was going to leave this announcement until closer to the end of this season but there's no real reason to hold off any longer. It is with some sadness that I have to tell you all that this current season will be the final one for the Seniors Tour/Group/Society whatever you want to call it. I have personally been involved in this for over 2 years and I need to move on - I need a change basically. With the advent of TGC2 and Societies, I enlisted the help of Simon Morris SAM and Ken Wise coggin66 to ensure that us Seniors could all be involved regardless of which platform we played on. It worked way better than I ever dreamed it would and these 2 guys never missed a beat. On top of that they both design great golf courses! So I want to thank Ken and Simon for being involved and helping me provide us Senior players with our own little cross platform "club". I also want to thank all of our members on PS4/PC/XB1 for your participation and support of our efforts. Some of you, I know, have been involved since inception, so thank you for your loyalty. It is my intention, at this stage, to establish a new Society in the new game - TGC2019, but it won't be Seniors based or cross platform, it will be PS4 players only (unless Sony and HB can ever sort out their issues or problems!) and it will feature a daily 1 round tournament with solid TGCT approved courses together with the odd fun/novelty course thrown in. Look out for it - I would be delighted to have any of you involved. For any PS4 players interested I will be having an ArcticFury extravaganza (all of his 14 courses in 14 days) in the Sons of Pitches Society immediately following the St. Andrews Major. This should help anyone experiencing any withdrawal symptoms and take us very close to the launch of the new game. Thanks again to everyone - good luck to all with TGC2019! Thanks for running this great society Peter and your 2 assistants Simon and Ken too been a pleasure and will be watching out for your society in the next game Good luck all

Just wanted to say thank you Peter, Ken and Sam, for a well run and fun society.
This no doubt was my first society to join, and I quite enjoyed playing the courses that were selected. As well as this forum, the banter and the advise received from the members. I have learned quite a bit. Unfortunately could not play more often this past month, summer is here and less time inside. As well I committed myself to a couple of other societies, that I could not leave, due to partners and matches that depended on me playing.
But come September when all is back to normal, I was planning on rejoining with everyone here.
Again thank you for all your hard work and commitment ... it was a pleasure.

For XB1 members - Please visit the following thread to see what I am doing with the XB1 Seniors society after the finalisation of the cross-platform results. New threadIt’s a bit much for my old brain to process but if I can just turn up and play my matches that’s fine by me 🤣🤣 Yep. Just turn up and play and I will do the rest.

Congrats, Steve stallion860 and all the other division winners. Playing in this society has been an amazing pleasure. Peter bogeyman, Simon, and Ken are true professionals and provided the best society experience available. I’m looking forward to Peter’s next venture. I’ll be there for sure. 🙂

Ok guys I've renamed this thread to reflect more accurately the state of the nation. Also slight name change to the Society (removing the reference to Seniors)
Hope everyone is enjoying the Arcticfury Extravaganza currently in progress. I will be keeping track of scores for this one and will create a link to Google sheets over the next few days.
Good luck!
