We were both having a good time out there. Had your ghost ball up and it rubbed off on my game. We burned enough edges between the two of us to start a small fire!

Well i'l say gratz to mr skidmarks now as i just shot my final round 'wasn't sure if i'd get to play it tonight,so just went ahead.OMFG the puttin was diabolacal it realy threw me i was missing 2and 3 footers and shooting them past the hole. Its a pitty they don't give you a few days heads up when they are going to release a patch that changes the most important part of the game.Shame as this is a tournament that i wanted But on the bright side it will probably be better once we get used to it "i hope"So no sour grapes and gratz to whoever wins it was a good tourny and a strong field well done

Oh great! I'm going to have to delay the start of week 2 (for me anyways) to practice putting. If Jimgem is missing 2 and 3 footers then there is something wrong.

Its like its not consistent you will play a putt one hole and it seems ok then the next hole say similar distance and you think you hit virtualy the same strength and its like 5-6 ft past.It will probably only take a few rounds to get used to,but i'm a bit worried about the inconsistency of it.Just need wait and see it may need minor tweeks.Depends on all the feedback i suppose.

I hope they keep the change, but there will be a ton of bitc-hing, the scores will rocket up now I'm sure.

Yeah same just hit a few shots through the back of the hole lol. They were approximately 2-5 ft and I hit them like they were 12-15 ft. Maybe we don't need to aim so far past hole now for uphill putts. Much more gnashing of teeth and putting practice I feel.

How the heck are any of semi-pros ever supposed to compete with someone who scores sub 60 2 of 3 rounds...then barely misses a third? Insanely great job here.
Time to go to the champions tour when the big boys come back to the PGA 2nd tournament.

I had the same thing happen to me a 2 foot putt that suddenly jumped on me. Had I not hit the back of the hole i would have rolled some 40 feet off the green as it was 12 feet past.

I played the first round at pomniville totally clueless about the new putting, could not fathom how i was leaving uphill putts short, 3 putted twice and missed a few easy birds and overhit a few on the way to a -6 wish i had played a practice round now, but whats done is done i guess...and yes Jim the consistency may be an issue, like yourself i had a few similar putts that behaved differently, quite sure i played them roughly the same, just different results...knew what to expect 2nd round and carded a -13 even though 94% hit cost me a great bird chance along the way...much better though.
